Criss Angel returns to Las Vegas
Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos is known by the stage name of Criss Angel. He is an American magician and illusionist. In 2002, he performed in the TV show “Criss Angel Mindfreak: Postmodern illusionist”. In 2005, he became the director and executive director of “Criss Angel Mindfreak”, telecast from 2005 to 2010. Criss Angel has announced that “Long-running Believe” will end in April and will be replaced by “Mindfreak: Live” in the month of May. “Believe” recently celebrated its seventh anniversary and has thrilled millions of audiences since 2008. This show contains 90 minutes of spectacular and original illusions based on the hit TV series, “MindFreak”; the premiere is to be celebrated in June. This show will use the latest technologies such as 3-D immersion, laser explosions, LED virtual worlds, musicians, and a DJ. In order to raise awareness, this show will have information about pediatric cancer.
“Mindfreak Live” is being directed by Criss Angel and the executive directors are Cirque and Criss Company. Some world-class talented artists will join Criss Angel; their names are to be revealed soon. Meanwhile, his other show “The Supernaturalists” is on tour and will continue in Europe and in South America until August.
Criss Angel will have his first cancer charity show and celebrity auction at The Luxor in September and has named it “Heal Every Life Possible”. He believes “The Johnny Christopher Children’s Charitable Foundation” will raise more than a million dollars. In a recent interview, Criss has stated that he will be travelling to Australia for the next three years for his son's cancer treatment.
